These structural muscles support and protect the pelvic organs as well as controlling urinary and fecal continence.
What is pelvic floor disfunction?
When the muscle of the pelvic floor are either too loose or too tight and weakened, unable to function optimally possibly presenting as:
urinary disfunctions( incomitance, urgency frequency, difficulty fully evacuating, prolapse and more…)
Reproductive disfunction (painful periods, cervical insufficiency, prolapse and more)
Sexual disfunction (painful sex, vaginal dryness, and more…)
Structural disfunction (pelvic pain, hip pain, low back pain and more)
Digestive disfunction (constipation, fecal incomitance, prolapse )
